– Results from the April Judicial Review
09 July 2008

The UK Home Office released a statement regarding the arrangements being made for migrants covered by the HSMP forum judicial review judgement from April 2008.

Migrants can apply under provisions in the policy document once the forms have been added to the UK Home Office website.

Migrants who currently hold HSMP leave can apply for an extension through forms which will be published on14 July 2008.

Guidance and application forms for the other groups covered by the judgment will be available shortly after.

Pending applications for an extension of the Tier 1 visa (General migrants) will be assessed with the requirements that were in place before 7 November 2006.

HSMP visa holders are covered by the judgment if they had joined the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP) under the arrangements in place before the programme was suspended in November 2006.

Migrants are not covered by the judgment if they were under the HSMP arrangements set in place from 5 December 2006.

Hello

I would like to know if ACCA (UK) would qualify as a Masters degree equivalent under the new tier 1 system.

Thanks

Moses
